Arusha is a city in Tanzania’s East Africa and is located at the foot of the Mount Meru volcano. It is a gateway to safari destinations and to Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro at 5,895 m, which lies some 100 km to the northeast. To the west is Serengeti National Park, home to wildlife such as lions, rhinoceroses (highly protected), giraffes and leopards to mentioned the few. Huge herds of wildebeest roam the plains during annual migrations season is amongst the signature of this vast plains of Serengeti National park.

Arusha is the hub of the African Cities Network and will protect East Africa’s tourism and culture.
