Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Arusha
You will be picked up by our Safari staff from Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. A short briefing will be provided to prepare you for the days ahead. Relax and settle in for your first night in Tanzania.

Arusha is a vibrant city located in northern Tanzania, often called the “Gateway to Safari” due to its proximity to iconic parks such as Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It offers beautiful landscapes, cultural diversity, and is an excellent starting point for any safari.
Day 2: Game Drive in Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known for large elephant herds, baobab trees, and its perennial river. Explore the savannahs and enjoy a picnic lunch while spotting wildlife like lions, giraffes, and numerous bird species.
Short Brief About Tarangire
Tarangire is less crowded and known for its diverse ecosystems, large herds of elephants, and iconic baobab trees. The park spans approximately 2,850 square kilometers and provides excellent wildlife viewing during dry seasons.
Day 3: Game Drive in Lake Manyara National Park
Today, head to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. The park features tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and a stunning lake that inspired Ernest Hemingway. Enjoy a picnic lunch and evening transfer to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Manyara is an alkaline lake set against the Great Rift Valley escarpment. It is home to elephants, giraffes, hippos, and over 400 bird species. The park offers a compact yet diverse safari experience with forests, grasslands, and lakeside habitats.
Day 4: Game Drive in Serengeti South – Ndutu Area
Drive to the Ndutu area of the Southern Serengeti, known for calving season from December to April. Afternoon game drive to spot wildebeest, zebras, elephants, and predators. Overnight at a camp in the Ndutu area.
Short Brief About Serengeti South – Ndutu Area
The Ndutu area features seasonal wetlands, soda lakes, and vast grasslands. It is a key location for viewing the wildebeest calving and predator action. The region is rich in wildlife and less crowded than central areas.
Day 5: Full Game Drive in Ndutu Area
Spend the day exploring diverse habitats including swamps and short-grass plains. Witness the birthing season of wildebeest and predator-prey interactions. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild and return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Game Drive in Central Serengeti
Continue your safari into the Central Serengeti, tracking migration trails and wildlife. Game drives will focus on spotting the Big Five and learning about the Serengeti ecosystem from your expert guide.
Day 7: Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater
Early breakfast followed by a drive into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s largest volcanic calderas. Spend the day exploring its rich biodiversity, including lions, rhinos, hippos, and flamingos at Lake Magadi. Return to Arusha in the evening for overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest inactive, intact volcanic caldera. It houses dense populations of wildlife including the Big Five and offers unmatched game viewing year-round.
Day 8: Arusha – Cultural Tour and Departure
Drive to Mto wa Mbu for a morning cultural tour and walking safari. Enjoy a delicious local lunch and optional mountain biking. In the afternoon, transfer back to Arusha or to the airport for your departure flight.
Optional: Hot Air Balloon Safari in Serengeti
Experience a once-in-a-lifetime hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti. The flight takes off before sunrise, offering aerial views of the plains and wildlife below. After the flight, enjoy a champagne breakfast in the bush. Perfect for couples and photography lovers.
