Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, the tour departs between 08:30 – 09:00. Your private safari guide will pick you up and begin your journey in a private 4×4 safari vehicle. The first stop is Tarangire National Park. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.

Tarangire is renowned for its high density of elephants and towering baobab trees. During the dry season (June to November), visitors can expect to see large herds of zebras, wildebeests, and cape buffalo. Other common species include waterbuck, giraffes, impalas, elands, monkeys, baboons, and predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and African wild dogs.

Short Brief About Tarangire National Park

Located in northern Tanzania, Tarangire National Park spans about 2,850 square kilometers. It features savannahs, swamps, and ancient baobab trees. The park is less crowded compared to others and offers a more intimate safari experience, especially famous for its elephant herds and birdlife, which includes over 500 species.

Day 2: Game Drive in Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, your guide will pick you up around 08:30 – 09:00 with a packed picnic lunch. Head to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Known for its seasonal flamingo flocks and tree-climbing lions, the park offers a variety of ecosystems and animal species.

Expect to see leopards, lions, elephants, blue monkeys, dik-diks, hippos, giraffes, impalas, and zebras. Visit the hippo pond for a safe viewing stop. Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Short Brief About Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara is located in northern Tanzania and is known for its diverse terrain — from groundwater forests to alkaline lakes. It’s home to flamingos, elephants, and the famous tree-climbing lions. The park is scenic and peaceful, ideal for birdwatchers and nature lovers.

Day 3: Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the lush farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the central Serengeti, known as the Seronera area, rich in wildlife and home to the Seronera River — a vital water source.

Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive. This region offers some of the best chances to see big cats and other iconic species in the wild.

Short Brief About Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti spans about 14,750 square kilometers and is famous for the annual Great Migration involving millions of wildebeests and zebras. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the Big Five, as well as a wide variety of other mammals and birds. The Serengeti is one of the best safari destinations in the world for wildlife viewing year-round.

Day 4: Full Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Begin your day with an early morning coffee or tea, then set out for a full-day game drive across the vast Serengeti plains. Spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and more. Depending on the season, you may witness the dramatic Great Migration.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush and continue exploring until sunset. Your expert guide will help you navigate the landscape and maximize wildlife sightings. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha / Airport

After an early breakfast, descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable wildlife viewing experience. This natural wonder is home to a vast range of animals, including wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, elephants, and the elusive black rhino.

You’ll also visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake that attracts flamingos, hippos, and other water birds. After a picnic lunch, ascend the crater and return to Arusha. Drop-off will be at your hotel or at the airport for your onward journey.

Short Brief About Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, spanning about 260 square kilometers. This UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts an incredibly high density of large mammals and bird species. Known as the “Garden of Eden,” it’s one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations.

Optional Add-On: Hot Air Balloon Safari

Hot air balloon safaris in the Serengeti offer a unique and unforgettable perspective. Scheduled for early morning when wildlife is most active and the skies are calm, you’ll float above the savannah as the sun rises. Spot animals from above and enjoy panoramic views of the endless plains.

After landing, celebrate with a champagne or bush breakfast in the wild. Balloon safaris are conducted by licensed and experienced operators who prioritize guest safety and comfort.
