Squeeze in as many of Tanzania’s wildlife parks as possible on this 4-day safari tour. With a small group, visit Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater where you enjoy several game drives

through the national parks. Your goal is to spot as many animals as possible such as lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and hippos. This is an adventure not to be missed when visiting Tanzania.

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, the tour departs between 08:30 – 09:00. After breakfast your private guide will pick you up and your private safari with private 4×4 safari vehicle starts. The first park visited is Tarangire where you will arrive at the lodge for lunch and will enjoy an afternoon game drive. The park is famous for its high density of elephants and baobab trees. Visitors to the park in the June to November dry season can expect to see large herds of thousands of zebra, wildebeest and cape buffalo. Other common resident animals include waterbuck, giraffe, dik dik, impala, eland, Grant’s gazelle, vervet monkey, banded mongoose, and olive baboon. Predators in Tarangire include African lion, leopard, cheetah, caracal, honey badger, and African wild dog.

Short brief about Tarangire

Tarangire National Park is located in northern Tanzania and is known for its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. The park covers approximately 2,850 square kilometres and is famous for its large elephant herds, which are often seen near the Tarangire River, especially during the dry season. It also has abundant wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. The park is characterized by savannahs, baobab trees, and swamps, creating a unique ecosystem. Tarangire is less crowded compared to other Tanzanian parks, offering a more tranquil and intimate safari experience.

Day 2: Game drive in Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park.

Short brief about Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti is a renowned national park located in northern Tanzania, East Africa. It spans around 14,750 square kilometers (5,700 square miles) and is famous for its vast savannahs, rich biodiversity, and the annual Great Migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras, and other herbivores. The migration is one of the most spectacular wildlife events in the world. The Serengeti is home to a wide variety of animals, including the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros) and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The park also has significant cultural importance, as it’s near the Maasai Mara in Kenya and inhabited by the Maasai people.

Day 3: Full Game Drive In Serengeti National Park

An early morning coffee, tea and biscuit for refreshment, then a full game drive in Serengeti National Park offers an immersive wildlife experience, where you’ll explore its vast savannahs, grasslands, and riverine areas in search of the incredible diversity of animals. Typically, the game drive lasts several hours, allowing you to spot the “Big Five” (lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinoceros) along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. Depending on the time of year, you might witness the Great Migration, as millions of wildebeest and zebras travel across the plains in search of fresh grazing. Experienced guides help navigate the park, providing insight into animal behavior and the ecosystem. The drive is often an unforgettable adventure, with opportunities for stunning wildlife photography and close-up encounters with nature.

Day 4: Transfer Game Drive To Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha/Airport

After an early breakfast of coffee, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. Later on, will follow the transfer back to Arusha city for drop off in your hotel or to airport.
