Your journey begins as you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where our experienced guide will meet and greet you with a warm Tanzanian welcome. After a short briefing about your safari, you’ll be transferred to the hotel in Arusha, a serene retreat located at the foothills of Mount Meru.
After a hearty breakfast, you’ll set off for Tarangire National Park, a gem in Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Known for its stunning landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees and its large population of elephants, Tarangire offers incredible wildlife viewing.
Enjoy a game drive through the park, spotting an array of animals including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and the playful antics of baboons. The park is also a haven for bird lovers, with over 500 species recorded.
After breakfast, depart for the iconic Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. The drive will take you through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, passing by traditional Maasai villages and endless plains.
Upon arrival in the Serengeti, embark on your first thrilling game drive in this vast wilderness. The Serengeti is famed for its spectacular wildebeest migration, but even outside the migration season, the park teems with predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and countless herbivores.
Spend a full day exploring the heart of the Serengeti. With morning and afternoon game drives, you’ll have ample opportunities to encounter wildlife in their natural habitat.
Witness dramatic predator-prey interactions, track the movements of elephant herds, and marvel at the Serengeti’s pristine landscapes. Your guide will tailor the day to maximize your chances of seeing the “Big Five” and other animals like hippos, hyenas, and crocodiles along the rivers.
After breakfast, you’ll leave the Serengeti and head toward the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the famous Ngorongoro Crater. The drive offers spectacular scenery as you ascend into the highlands.
Descend into the crater, a natural caldera formed millions of years ago, for an unforgettable game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is often referred to as the “Garden of Eden” due to its incredible biodiversity and dense concentration of wildlife. Here, you may spot the rare black rhino, along with lions, elephants, buffalo, flamingos, and a variety of other species.
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning at the lodge or take a short walk to explore the coffee plantation. You’ll then drive back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward journey.
As your safari comes to an end, take with you the memories of Tanzania’s breathtaking landscapes, incredible wildlife, and warm hospitality.
