Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your driver-guide will greet you and begin the journey to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. After a scenic drive through highland villages and the Great Rift Valley, you’ll arrive at the crater rim and descend 600 meters into the floor of this ancient caldera.
Inside the crater, enjoy a half-day game drive with opportunities to see the Big Five — especially the rare black rhino, as well as lions, buffalos, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and more. After your safari, transfer to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and rest.
