This 4-day fly-in safari is designed for travelers who want to maximize their wildlife experience in a short time without long overland drives. Starting from the tropical paradise of Zanzibar, you’ll fly directly to the heart of Tanzania’s most famous safari destination — the Serengeti National Park. Experience thrilling game drives across the endless plains, then explore the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s best places to spot the Big Five. The tour concludes with a scenic transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport, making this an unforgettable express safari.
After breakfast, transfer from your Zanzibar hotel to the airport for your bush flight to Serengeti National Park. On arrival at Seronera Airstrip, your private guide will greet you with your safari vehicle ready — and the game drive begins immediately!
Spend the afternoon exploring the central Serengeti, known for its high concentration of big cats, elephants, giraffes, and the Great Migration (seasonal). After an exciting start, check in to your safari camp or lodge, where you’ll dine under the stars.
Today, enjoy a full-day safari with your professional guide across different ecosystems of the Serengeti. Your route may include river crossings, kopjes (rock outcrops where lions love to rest), and vast open plains. With luck, you’ll spot lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos, as well as hyenas, warthogs, zebras, and more.
You’ll stop for a picnic lunch in the bush, then continue game viewing until late afternoon.
After breakfast, you’ll begin your journey out of the Serengeti with a game drive en route, giving you more chances to spot wildlife along the way. Travel through the southern plains, where cheetahs and migratory herds are often seen.
Enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the famous crater and the big five. As you climb to higher elevation, enjoy views of volcanic hills, Maasai villages, and rolling highlands.
After an early breakfast, depart your lodge for a private road transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Passing through picturesque highlands, small towns, and local farms. This is a scenic journey and a peaceful way to reflect on your safari experience.
Arrive at the airport in time for your outbound flight or onward journey.
