You’ll embark on an unforgettable 3-day safari adventure starting and ending in Zanzibar! You’ll arrive at Seronera Airstrip around 11:00 a.m., where a warm welcome awaits from your dedicated safari guide. After a picnic lunch, you’ll embark on an exciting game drive through the Serengeti, with a break at around 1:00 p.m. to enjoy a delightful lunch. You’ll spend the afternoon searching for the majestic big cats and other captivating wildlife. Your day concludes with a return to your accommodation for a comfortable overnight stay.
You’ll start your day with an early sunrise game drive across the Serengeti, offering the perfect chance to spot predators in their morning hunt and enjoy a stunning sunrise over the savannah. After a leisurely late breakfast, you’ll journey to Ngorongoro, with the drive itself serving as an engaging game drive. Your guide will seek out the Big Five and other wildlife, including the spectacular wildebeest migration.
You’ll also visit a Maasai boma, where you can participate in traditional dances, explore an authentic Maasai village, and shop for souvenirs at the local market.
After breakfast, you’ll head to the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. Your first view of this vast, verdant caldera will be from a breathtaking panoramic vantage point.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to over 120 mammal species including the famed Big Five, is a premier safari destination. Observe the rare black rhinoceros grazing on the plains, and see hippos enjoying the cool waters. From your open-top vehicle, you’ll capture stunning images of Africa’s iconic wildlife. The crater’s diverse ecosystem is bustling with predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas, as well as large herds of wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, and cape buffalos. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch by the park’s famous hippo pool before returning to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
