Arrival in Arusha

You will be picked up from the airport by a Genau Guides Limited representative and conveyed to your accommodation in Arusha where you will overnight, relax, and prepare in anticipation of the adventures to come.

Day 1: Serengeti National Park

In the morning our safari guide will collect you from our lodge in Arusha with a broad smile in anticipation of our coming adventures.
On this day you will set off to the famous Serengeti National Park, home of the Great Migration. Your drive today is spectacular as you drive up the crater highlands, stopping at the rim for a view of the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Continuing on, as you crest the hillside, spread out before you, as far as the eyes can see, the vast Serengeti Park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles. Large predators including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey which migrate throughout the park. Many smaller animals like rock hyrax, mongoose, jackals, monkeys, baboons and African hares also inhabit the area along with nearly 500 species of birds.
After lunch, afternoon game drive on-route to overnight at tented camp.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will have a full day game drive in the vast plains of Serengeti, this large heritage site is beaming with variety of animal from the smallest to the biggest cat, you will be provided with lunch boxes and water so you can get the most of what the park has to offer. As the sun sets, we will drive back to the camp.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Today you will wake up very early and soon after having breakfast, you will hit the road drive to Ngorongoro, one of the most beautiful experiences one can have on your way is to observe the sunrise in the African Savannah. After the 3 hours’ drive, we will descend down to the crater floor for a day of wildlife viewing in one of the most incredible places on Earth. With walls 2,000 ft high and a crater floor that spreads for 102 sq. miles, the crater is a virtual Noah’s Ark, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino. In fact, the crater has the greatest concentration of wild life in the planet.
After a stop for a picnic lunch near the hippo lake, and more wildlife viewing in the afternoon, drive up the steep road out of the crater and return to the hotel/lodge or camp.

Day 4: Karatu to Arusha Town.

On this day, after breakfast, we drive to Arusha town enjoying conversation, and reflection in the mind’s eye the images of the wilds occurred during the unforgettable safari before arriving at the airport ready for your flight back home.

Nb: Please note this program is an overview of your whole safari, it can be changed however you would like to suite your needs and interests. So pls don’t hesitate to share your view and make some suggestions as you please.
